Bamboudesign is a San Francisco-based privately-funded mobile software startup, founded in 2008.
The company designs and develops applications and websites for mobile devices. Headed by a prior employee at Adobe, Bamboudesign builds smart utility, productivity and promotional applications for iPhone, iPad, and Android. These mobile applications are engineered for optimal user
experiences!
Bamboudesign's designers and engineers are experts at building applications that are easy to use, useful,
and enjoyable. We
have experience in conducting user research and user
tests, while integrating user needs early into the product development. Our projects are managed efficiently, reliably, and cost-effectively.
History
Bamboudesign was originally founded in
2004 in Paris, France to provide user experience solutions for desktop web sites and applications in Europe and the United States. In 2008, the company opened a new entity in the heart of Silicon Valley to focus on user experience design and development solutions for mobile sites and applications.
How often do you find a mobile application that's hard to use or that doesn't
do what you expect? It's likely the
product was built fast and without attention to the user.
Bamboudesign's approach puts the user at the center of a design project. We integrate
end-user data through the planning, design and development
of an application, put ourselves in the shoes of the typical user and verify feature-by-feature the intuitiveness and smart characteristics of the app before we move to the next step. Iterations drive the project!
We are dedicated to creating great user experiences in the products
we design.
A user experience reflects the overall experience
that an individual has when using a product. It generally is
defined by the level of satisfaction, effectiveness and
efficiency of use of the product , and it exists when
a user performs a common task quickly and easily.
Our user experience solution is the tangible outcome of our
user-centric approach. We work on all components of the product,
from look and feel to functionality, content, system performance
and more, to create an optimal experience for the user.
