December 1st, 2009 — Palo Alto, Calif.-based Ansca has shipped Corona, a platform described as the fastest, easiest way to build iPhone applications. The product helps users to design, develop and distribute directly from the product framework. Ansca has raised $1 million in funding from Merus Capital. Ansca will use the money to fund new tech development, including an app-design platform for smartphones other than the iPhone. The Palo Alto, Calif.-based company says its goal is to make it much easier for developers on both ends of the spectrum—engineers and web designers—to build high-quality apps.

October 30, 2009 — Bamboudesign and Ansca published in Miami New Times after presenting the new mobile software development tool Ansca Corona to iPhone professionals at the South Florida iPhone Meetup in Miami.

June 15, 2009 — Bamboudesign has been contributing to Ansca's development and launch since its inception in 2008. Ansca, a San Mateo, California-based startup led by two former Adobe engineers, is jumping into the gap with a software development kit that simplifies app development by bringing Flash-like qualities to the iPhone development environment.
